If you want to merge beams with different sections, you need select beam (currently beam with small section) section of which you want to implement to other beams after merge all of them. From menu select ModifyMerging%20beams%20with%20different%20sections img 1 Merging beams with different sections SectionsMerging%20beams%20with%20different%20sections img 2 Merging beams with different sections Merge. Click Apply button. Select them and press Escape.

Confirm merging.

In this case merged beam will have properties of first selected beam. If selected beams are parallel or some of them under angle you will receive message.

A PKEY is a reference pointer to a specific pline which forms part of the catalogue definition of a structural item (typically a profile, joint or fitting). For example, PKEYs for an I-section profile might include:

You have to know point of connection of beams or columns. After you need adjust and create beams. In this case you saving time and will get correct connection point of them. Of course, you can correct even after connection as well (next manual). Let
